Hail and lightning stops play in Italy
Zebre's home match against Connacht Rugby was abandoned before half-time due to inclement weather conditions.
Referee Ian Davies deemed it unfit to continue with the match at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi as the stadium was hit with a prolonged spell of lightning and hailstones.
Because the game was abandoned after only 40 minutes of play, the result is null and void.
As such a replay will be required and the date of the rearranged game will be announced in due course.
Supporters have been told to retain their tickets from the match as they will be valid for the rearranged fixture.
