Trump: Shoot-out favourite
Trump: Shoot-out favourite

Sky Bet make Judd Trump the 12/1 favourite to win the World Snooker Shoot-out in the absence of Ronnie O'Sullivan.

The format is not massively different to normal snooker rules but, with a 10-minute limit, shot-clock and ball in the hand for a foul, tactics will play a huge role in the outcomes of the matches.

Mark Selby comes here on the back of a week playing in the Championship League and is 16/1 in the outright betting, while there may be value to be found in the outsiders including teenager Michael White available at 66/1, Chinese sensation, Xiao Guodong, at 66/1 and Tom Ford at 80/1.

Defending champion, Nigel Bond, is 66/1 and outright betting will be available throughout the first two rounds of play and after subsequent rounds.

Trump takes on John Higgins in the first round in a repeat of last year's World Championship final and is 8/11 in the match outright betting, with Higgins priced at evens.

Sky Bet also offer an enhanced accumulator on the opening round matches of for Trump, Mark Selby, Mark Williams, and Stephen Maguire all to win at 11/1.

Head of snooker trading, Andy Thorp, said: "We will be offering match odds in-play but will also be offering a selection of pre-match markets including who will win the leg, first and last colour potted, which pocket the first red will be potted in, who will reach 30 points first and which player will pot the first red or foul first."
