All you need to know about the 22-year-old from Stockport who faces Andy Murray on Tuesday...

Murray, who lifted a record fifth Queen's title earlier this month, has been reunited with Ivan Lendl, the former Czech great who coached him to Wimbledon glory in 2013.

The 29-year-old two-time Grand Slam winner faces a fellow British player for the first time at a major tournament in Broady, ranked 235 in the world.

Broady fought back from two sets to love down to beat Australia's Marinko Matosevic in the first round 12 months ago. That followed a successful junior career at the All England Club. He became only the second British boy to reach the singles final since 1972 in 2011, losing to Australia's Luke Saville.

Now Broady, 22, will relish the opportunity of taking on Murray for a place in the second round and a potential meeting against Yen-Hsun Lu from Chinese Taipei or Russian world No 167 Alexander Kudryavtsev.

Murray will follow women's top seed and defending champion Serena Williams, who opens up her bid for a record-equalling 22nd Grand Slam title against Switzerland's Amra Sadikovic.
