Andy Murray and Johanna Konta bid to keep Britain's Wimbledon double dream alive as all 16 players in both draws play their fourth round matches.

The second Monday of the tournament is traditionally known as Manic Monday as both the men's and women's draws come together in 16 high-quality match-ups, an occasion that only ever happens at Wimbledon and 2017's edition looks as thrilling as any in recent years.

Defending champion and world No 1 Murray leads Britain's bid, taking on Benoit Paire and he has Konta for company this year, the British women's No 1 is enjoying her best ever run at the All England Club and faces Caroline Garcia

Throw into the mix Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic - with Federer facing 'Baby Fed' Grigor Dimitrov - as well as the two brightest young talents in Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem and you have a tantalising day in store in the men's draw.

Despite being one of the most open editions of the ladies event in years, 10 of the top 16 seeds have made it through to the women's fourth round.

A couple of cracking ties loom on Monday, and while Konta will get top billing for the home fans, Garbine Muguruza vs Angelique Kerber and Viktoria Azarenka against Simona Halep merit special attention.

1973 was the last time Britain had at least one man and one woman through to the quarter-finals - Roger Taylor eventually beating Bjorn Borg in the last eight, while Virginia Wade was beaten at that stage by Evonne Goolagong.

Centre Court - Order of Play (1pm)

Ana Konjuh (27) v Venus Williams (10)
Andy Murray (1) v Benoit Paire
Grigor Dimitrov (13) v Roger Federer (3)

The action gets underway on the show courts at 1pm as five-time champion Venus Williams, a semi-finalist again last year, takes on 19-year-old Croatian Ana Konjuh.

The oldest woman in the draw faces the youngest and ahead of the clash, Williams has reached this stage on 14 previous occasions while it's only Konjuh's second ever appearance in the fourth round of a Grand Slam having reached the last eight at the US Open last year.

They are followed onto Centre by Murray who aims to beat French showman Paire to reach the quarter-finals in SW19 for a 10th successive year.

The Scot survived a scare against enigmatic Italian Fabio Fognini and is likely to face more of the same from Paire, who will relish the occasion but perhaps doesn't have the same weaponry as Fognini - although he did take a set off Murray in their only previous encounter.

Roger Federer is looking back to his best this year, here's the highlights of a memorable 2017

The clash between Federer and Dimitrov is last up and will be one for the purists as the pair go head to head for the sixth time, the legendary Swiss winning on all five previous occasions.

Federer is chasing a first Wimbledon title since 2012 but is in scintillating form having won the Australian Open to claim Grand Slam number 18 earlier this year. He is yet to drop a set this week while neither has Dimitrov.

Surprisingly it's only Dimitrov's second appearance in the last 16 at Wimbledon, however the occasion will not put him off as he demolished home favourite Murray in straight sets on Centre Court in the last eight three years ago

Court No 1 - Order of Play (1pm)

Johanna Konta (6) v Caroline Garcia (21)
Rafael Nadal (4) v Gilles Muller (16)
Adrian Mannarino v Novak Djokovic (2)

Konta resumes her bid to be the first British woman since Jo Durie in 1984 to reach the quarter-finals and she will face 21st-seed Caroline Garcia to bring up the curtain on Court No 1.

Garcia reached the quarter-finals at the French Open and is yet to drop a set after the opening week and represents a tough test for Konta who had never been beyond the second round of Wimbledon.

She survived a huge scare to beat Donna Vekic before making short work of Maria Sakkari and, with the head to head level at 2-2, it promises to be another evenly contested affair.

Rafael Nadal follows them onto the stage. The 10-time French Open champion has made serene progress to the fourth round and victory against 16th seed Gilles Muller will see him into the last eight on the grass for the first time since 2011.

Muller is likely to provide Nadal's toughest test, but despite his big-serving game he is into the fourth round at Wimbledon for the first time, underlining the form that has taken him to three finals and two titles this year - the first titles of the 32-year-old's career.

Last up it's Novak Djokovic against France's world no 51 Adrian Mannarino, with the Serb in focused mood and admitting that his passion is back.

Mannarino has seen off Queen's champion Feliciano Lopez and Gael Monfils so far and will not be underestimated by three-time Wimbledon champion Djokovic, who is out to end his 12-month Grand Slam 'drought'.

The beauty of Manic Monday is that there is some high-quality action on the outside courts right from the off at 11.30am and Court No 2 will be a pretty hot ticket to hold.

The final match on No 2 sees Milos Raonic continue his quest to go one better than last year's runners-up finish when he takes on rising star Alexander Zverev in a match that will have the speed gun in overdrive.
