Serena Williams will miss a second straight tournament next week after pulling out of the Qatar Open.

The world No 1 has withdrawn from the Doha event with flu a week after illness forced her to miss the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Williams has not played since losing to Angelique Kerber in the final of the Australian Open last month.
