World number one Caroline Wozniacki won her third title of 2011 with a straight-sets victory over Russian Elena Vesnina in the final of the Family Circle Cup in Charleston. The top-seeded Dane won 6-2 6-3 to add the title to those she won in Dubai and Indian Wells. Wozniacki saved all four break points she faced, including two in the seventh game of the second set, when the Russian had her one glimer of a chance. The Dane made just 10 unforced errors and had break point in every game in the second set, as she claimed her 15th career title from 23 finals at the age of 20. The defeat is the fifth in as many finals for the unseeded Vesnina, who was also beaten by Wozniacki when they met in the New Haven final in 2009. Vesnina managed to hold on under pressure through much of the second set, saving five break points before Wozniacki finally broke for a 5-3 lead. Wozniacki then served out the match, taking the title on her first match point.
