LTA confirm reports are true

The Lawn Tennis Association has confirmed Laura Robson has officially parted company with her coach Patrick Mouratoglou. The announcement comes after Wednesday's Daily Mail broke the story that Robson, who trains at Mouratoglou's academy in Paris, has parted company with the Frenchman just days ahead of Wimbledon. The 17-year-old former junior champion showed promise with a narrow defeat to then world number four Jelena Jankovic in last year's Wimbledon but has endured a difficult time since and is down at 257th in the rankings. Robson appointed Mouratoglou at the end of last December but he will now not be part of the Londoner's coaching team when she starts her campaign at the All England Club next week. An LTA spokesperson said: "The reports from today are true. Laura has parted company with her coach."
