Agnieszka Radwanska won the Brussels Open, beating Simona Halep in straight sets in the final. Halep was attempting to win her first ever WTA Tour title in the Belgian capital but, despite putting up a good fight in the first set, could not keep pace with the Polish 23-year-old, who was the top seed in the competition. The pair exchanged several breaks of serve in the opening set, before world number three Radwanska claimed the crucial break in game 12.
