Andy Murray and his wife Kim are expecting their first baby in February, the British No 1's agent has confirmed.
The couple, who married in the Scot's home town of Dunblane in April, announced the news to family and friends after attending a 12-week scan.
Murray, 28, hit some impressive form following his wedding and credited walking down the aisle with 27-year-old Kim for his string of victories.
The former US Open and Wimbledon champion, who suffered a surprise defeat to Teymuraz Gabashvili in Washington, scribbled 'marriage works' on a TV camera lens after claiming his second clay court title of the year in May.
The couple met at the US Open in 2005 and were together for eight years before tying the knot at Dunblane Cathedral.
The news comes just days before Murray’s coach Amelie Mauresmo is due to give birth to her first child.
She announced she was pregnant two days before the British tennis star's wedding.
Murray's mother Judy recently told Closer magazine that she was "really looking forward to being a granny".
Fans of the tennis star have already taken to Twitter to congratulate the couple on the pregnancy.
