Andy Murray will play against his brother Jamie for the first time at Tour level in a men's doubles match on Thursday at the Montreal Masters.

Andy Murray and doubles partner Leander Paes beat Jeremy Chardy and Kevin Anderson 6-3 6-1 to set-up a tie with the elder Murray sibling and his Australian partner John Peers.

Murray told reporters on Sunday: 'I've never played my brother since we became professionals. We obviously played a lot against each other as juniors in local competitions and around Great Britain.

"We've not played each other for a long time so it'll be nice in some ways, but also it's not easy."

Jamie Murray and John Peers are in excellent form, coming off the back of a win in the German Open in Hamburg and the pair also reached the Wimbledon final this year.
