Andy Murray renews his rivalry with Tomas Berdych in the Shanghai Rolex Masters quarter-finals on Friday.

There are few players on the tour that the British No 1 has endured such a feisty relationship with, and indeed shared such a competitive head-to-head score-line.

You can see them do battle again from lunchtime but the action at the Shanghai Rolex Masters begins on Friday at 6.30am.

Murray and Berdych have six wins each from their 12 career meetings plus a whole host of tumultuous emotions.

A tense Australian Open semi-final this year, perpetuated by Murray's friend and hitting partner Dani Vallverdu switching to Berdych's camp, even encompassed Kim Sears. That's now water under the bridge, as the two players prepare to contest a place in the Shanghai semi-final.

The first match of the morning will see Kevin Anderson try to put in another impressive showing after Thursday's upset win over Kei Nishikori as he comes up against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

That's followed by the mouth-watering prospect of Rafael Nadal playing Stan Wawrinka in a battle of outside contenders to the title.
