Two-time former champion Rafa Nadal kicks off the action on Centre Court at 1pm, facing unseeded Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazhakstan.

The workld No 63 is through to the third round at Wimbledon for the first time and it will be a major surprise if he troubles the world No 1.

Russian Maria Sharapova is seeded fifth this year but is favourite with many bookies to lift her second Wimbledon title 10 years after winning her first as a 17-year-old.

Sharapova faces American Alison Riske, the world No 44 from Atlanta, Georgia.

Last up on Centre is seven-time former champion Roger Federer and another one-sided contest looks in prospect here, with the Swiss legend facing unseeded Colombian Santiago Giraldo, the world No 35.
