We look at the best moments from WWE Fastlane in 2016, as Roman Reigns battled Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar, and AJ Styles fought Chris Jericho

Roman Reigns took the Fastlane to WrestleMania in 2016.

The Big Dog defeated WrestleMania 31 foe Brock Lesnar and ex-Shield stablemate Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match to seal a showdown with WWE Champion Triple H at WrestleMania 32.

Reigns, who had lost the WWE Title to Triple H during the Royal Rumble, initially teamed with Ambrose to neutralise Lesnar - in true Shield style!

Reigns, Ambrose and Seth Rollins' trademark after breaking on the scene in 2012 was to powerbomb their opponents through the announce desk.

Rollins may not have been around in February last year - he was nursing a serious knee injury - but Reigns and Ambrose still rolled out their old move, nailing Lesnar through TWO tables!

Somehow, The Beast Incarnate - who had drilled Reigns and Ambrose with a plethora of suplexes earlier in the bout - got to his feet and floored his rivals with a double German suplex.

Eventually, though, Reigns triumphed, smashing Ambrose with a spear after The Lunatic Fringe had taken Lesnar out of the equation with a steel chair.

The Juggernaut went on to defeat Triple H at WrestleMania, while Lesnar conquered Ambrose in a No Holds Barred Match on the same night, after administering an F5 onto a pile of chairs.
