Roman Reigns to battle Bray Wyatt inside Hell in a Cell on October 25
Rivals to settle summer-long feud in Los Angeles
Friday 2 October 2015 20:55, UK
Roman Reigns will square off with Bray Wyatt inside Hell in a Cell after the Eater of Worlds accepted his challenge.
The powerhouses have been engaged in a bitter rivalry ever since Wyatt prevented Reigns from claiming the Money in the Bank briefcase in June.
Reigns and Wyatt's most recent clash, on Monday Night Raw, ended in a double count-out, prompting the former Shield man to ask the Eater of Worlds for a final brawl, live on Sky Sports Box Office, on Sunday, October 25.
The Wyatt Family leader subsequently agreed to the bout, meaning both competitors will set foot inside the barbaric metal structure for the first time when Hell in a Cell is held in Los Angeles' Staples Center.
Reigns made the challenge on Thursday's edition of Smackdown, a show on which Kane once again played mind games with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
The Big Red Monster appeared in his business guise at the start of the evening, announcing that Rollins would team with The New Day to face The Dudley Boyz and Demon Kane - and that he would be at ringside.
The Director of Operations kept his word but Demon Kane was nowhere to be seen - until Rollins, inadvertently or otherwise, tumbled into Corporate Kane, forcing the suited Superstar to head backstage.
Demon Kane soon appeared in his place and as he attacked Rollins, Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley defeated New Day member Kofi Kingston with a 3D - before being taken out by their tag-team partner!
Elsewhere in Albany, Ryback's hopes of regaining the Intercontinental Championship ended in frustration when current titlist Kevin Owens got himself intentionally counted-out.
The Big Guy claimed a modicum of revenge, however, hitting the Canadian with both a Meathook Clothesline and a Shell Shocked after wriggling free of his opponent's Pop-Up Powerbomb attempt.
Plus, Neville and The Lucha Dragons overcame Stardust and The Ascension when Kalisto clobbered Konnor with Salida del Sol, while Team B.A.D. beat Team Bella, Sasha Banks submitting Nikki Bella with the Banks Statement.
