WWE legend Bret Hart is battling prostate cancer.
The five-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006, announced the news on his Facebook page on Monday
"With hesitation and fear, I openly declare myself in my fight against prostate cancer," said Hart. "In the next few days, I will undergo surgery with the hope of defeating this nemesis once and for all."
A host of WWE Superstars and Divas posted messages of support on Twitter, including Triple H and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
"Thoughts and prayers with @BretHart and his family. Let's all get in his corner to help him win this fight!!! #GetWellHitman," said Triple H.
"Just learned my friend @BretHart is battling prostate cancer....sending out prayers and support," said Lawler.
