Reigning NXT Champion Finn Balor beat former titlist Neville in a pulsating contest in Orlando on Wednesday night.
Irishman Balor eventually downed the Newcastle native following a foot stomp and a Bloody Sunday DDT to win the pair's non-title tussle.
Balor also learned that he will defend his strap against the winner of Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe's two-out-of-three falls No 1 contender's match on next week's edition of NXT.
Elsewhere The Vaudevillains, Aiden English and Simon Gotch, defeated Hugo Knox - former Burton Albion, Crewe Alexandra and Port Vale goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson - and Tucker Knight in a tag-team encounter.
Plus, Elias Samson defeated Steve Cutler, Emma submitted Santana Garrett, and Baron Corbin attacked new NXT signing Austin Aries.
