Sting announced his retirement from wrestling during his induction speech at the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony.

The six-time WCW Heavyweight Champion wrestled just the two matches in WWE, battling Triple H at WrestleMania 31 before fighting Seth Rollins at Night of Champions last September.

Sting picked up a neck injury in his match with Rollins and has decided to end a career which included three reigns with the WCW Tag Team Championship.

Speaking at the Hall of Fame ceremony, the Icon said: 'This does not mean goodbye, it means see you later.'
