WWE Raw: Sheamus stops Cesaro winning United States title
Roman Reigns v Rusev added to WWE SummerSlam card
Tuesday 9 August 2016 15:40, UK
Cesaro's hopes of prising the United States Title from Rusev were dashed by Sheamus on Monday Night Raw.
The Swiss wrestler was granted a championship bout by Raw General Manager Mick Foley after pinning Dublin-born Sheamus earlier in the evening.
Cesaro clocked Rusev with a Neutralizer during Raw's main event but he was then floored by Sheamus' Brogue Kick and beaten by the Bulgarian following a kick to the head.
Rusev will defend his title again at SummerSlam, though, after Foley announced he would go one-on-one with Roman Reigns, live on Sky Sports Box Office on August 21.

Reigns had earlier gate-crashed Rusev and Lana's re-enacted wedding ceremony - the pair had got married for real in late July - asking for a shot at The Super Athlete's championship.
Reigns and Rusev subsequently brawled, leaving Foley to add a bout between the two to an already-stacked SummerSlam card.
Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens will take on Enzo Amore and Big Cass in Brooklyn, after Jericho's singles clash with Amore on Raw descended into chaos.
Sasha Banks, meanwhile, changed the complexion of her Women's Title defence against Charlotte at SummerSlam - beating Dana Brooke to ensure she will be banned from ringside.
Elsewhere on Raw, Braun Strowman crushed Jorel Nelson; Darren Young pinned Titus O'Neil in a role reversal from last week; and Neville and Sin Cara edged The Dudley Boyz.
Plus, Luke Gallows defeated Kofi Kingston - before Kingston's New Day team-mate Xavier Woods used a chair to quell a post-match attack from Gallows and Karl Anderson.
