Two of WWE’s most dominant factions in recent times, The Shield and The Wyatt Family, went to war at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in 2014

Superb Elimination Chamber matches are not just contested inside the Chamber structure itself.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) battled The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) at the 2014 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view without a shred of metal in sight.

The two stables produced an epic fight nonetheless, one which The Wyatt Family triumphed in when Wyatt floored Reigns with Sister Abigail after Harper had taken a spear on his leader's behalf.

The fired-up crowd, who chanted "This is awesome" before a fist had been flung, were treated to suicide dives from Rollins and Harper - and Rollins being planted through the announce desk by Harper and Rowan.

Reigns managed to extract himself from one Sister Abigail attempt and flatten Wyatt with a Samoan drop and a Superman punch - but he came unstuck from the second, as you will see in the video above.

Reigns, Rollins and Rowan will not be involved at Sunday's Smackdown-exclusive Elimination Chamber pay-per-view - Reigns and Rollins are on the Raw brand, while Rowan is recovering from a torn rotator cuff.
