Randy Orton will challenge Bray Wyatt for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 33 after defeating AJ Styles in a No 1 contender's match on Smackdown.
The Viper beat Styles with an RKO on Tuesday night to secure a championship opportunity against his former master on Sunday, April 2, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Styles reacted angrily to his defeat, confronting Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon backstage and becoming involved in a confrontation that WWE officials were forced to separate.
John Cena and his girlfriend, Nikki Bella, conquered James Ellsworth and Carmella as they teamed up in a WWE ring for the first time - Cena trapping Ellsworth in the STF and Bella administering a Fearless Lock on Carmella to secure a simultaneous submission.
Cena and Bella were then attacked by The Miz and Maryse, who proceeded to run down their rivals and insist they were the true power couple in WWE.
Dean Ambrose, meanwhile, was trapped under a forklift truck by Baron Corbin after searching for his nemesis backstage, having earlier planted Curt Hawkins with two Dirty Deeds.
Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan also announced that Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss, would defend her title against every available woman on the Smackdown roster at WrestleMania.
Bliss then teamed up with Mickie James to knock off Becky Lynch and Natalya - the champion pinning Lynch after Natalya had turned on the Irishwoman and nailed her with a German Suplex.
Bliss' celebrations were cut short, however, as she was quickly smashed with a Mick Kick by James, who has been an ally of the titleholder since returning to WWE in January.
