The Undertaker v Bray Wyatt: Read tale of the tape ahead of WrestleMania 31

Can The Eater of Worlds upset the odds in Santa Clara?

WrestleMania's most iconic performer will combat one of WWE's most capable yet creepy upstarts on Sunday night.

That's right, for the first time since his undefeated streak at The Show of Shows came to a grinding halt against Brock Lesnar last year, The Undertaker will be in action inside of a wrestling ring.

WRESTLEMANIA 31

Midnight, Sunday (Mon morning)
Live on Sky Sports Box Office

The Phenom's opponent is Bray Wyatt, the former sermon-spewing leader of The Wyatt Family who, since branching out on his own, has overcome Dean Ambrose and flourished in the Royal Rumble Match.

Wyatt's rise in recent months has been evident but he pales to The Undertaker when it comes to longevity, titles won and legends faced, as the Tale of the Tape below points out...

The Undertaker

Nicknames: The Phenom, The Deadman, The Last Outlaw, The Demon of Death Valley

Finishing moves: Hell's Gate, Tombstone Piledriver, The Last Ride, Chokeslam

Recent achievements: The Undertaker's greatest achievement last year was probably living to fight another day after he was forced to attend a local medical facility in New Orleans in the wake of Lesnar ending his unbeaten streak at WrestleMania 30. The Phenom has kept an incredibly low profile since then, with no-one in WWE hearing a peep from him until he was challenged to a Show of Shows clash by Bray Wyatt at the recent Fastlane event. Taker's riposte to the Eater of Worlds was to set fire to his cherished rocking chair and confirm he was good to go for 'Mania. We have not seen the Deadman in 12 months, however, so when we do on March 29, it will be a hairs-on-the-back-of-the-neck scenario.

BRAY WYATT

Nicknames: The Eater of Worlds, The New Face of Fear, The Man of 1,000 Truths, The Pied Piper of Terror

Finishing moves: Sister Abigail

Result at WrestleMania 2014: lost to John Cena via pinfall

Achievements in 2014: Wyatt bounced back from his 'Mania loss to Cena by defeating the West Newbury native in a Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules, and while he was knocked off by the 15-time world champion once more at Payback success would soon return. The New Face of Fear conquered Chris Jericho at Battleground and after a stint in the shadows returned to get the better of The Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose, in both TLC and Ambulance Matches in the latter part of the year. 2015 began with Wyatt shining in the Royal Rumble Match, entering at No 5, eliminating six of his peers and lasting for over 45 minutes, before he turned his attentions to The Deadman, challenging the veteran from inside a coffin at WWE Fastlane.
