Verdict

OASIS KNIGHT usually wore a visor on the Flat and, after trying cheekpieces at Newbury last time, connections have now resorted to blinkers in an attempt to re-ignite the five-year-old's enthusiasm. He undoubtedly has the ability to win a race of this nature and is given a final chance with Quiet Whisper, who showed promise in three runs before the turn of the year, possibly in need of the outing today. Bumper winner Neltara will almost certainly improve on his hurdling debut at Kempton and Phoenix Flight has been knocking on the door and should also be thereabouts.
