In depth

Verdict

I Have Dreamed was a decent handicapper last season and was very impressive in beating Sovereign King by 30 lengths over 2m5f at Kempton in March. But the worry here is the extra half-mile, over which he's unproven. Shouldhavehadthat has been progressing nicely between the flags lately and several of the others bring winning point-to-point to the table, including the hat-trick seeking Horsham Lad. But the vote goes to SPECIAL PORTRAIT, who was clearly out of his depth in the Cheltenham Foxhunters but had easily landed the odds at Ayr earlier and still has time on his side.
