Verdict

Cause Toujours won in a canter at Kempton last month on his first start for new connections but this has a much more competitive look about it. French import Melody Of Scotland could be anything but the handicapper has taken no chances with her. Mick Thonic has only run once over hurdles in the last two years and Phoenix Dawn already looks exposed but Parthenius has had a wind operation and remains unexposed. We’ll stick with GLOBAL THRILL as he beat a similar field at Newton Abbot and has a good strike-rate. Though 4lb higher, he’s still receiving weight all round.
