    Verdict

The newcomers Thriving and Firelight have plenty of stamina in their pedigrees though Majestic Mac is more speedily bred. But those with race experience make more appeal and OBERYN MARTELL made a promising start when runner-up over the minimum trip at Doncaster last month. He’s just preferred to Dark Shadow, who should do better in this company on the back of a modest debut at Ascot. Both Don Armado and Good Luck Fox showed early pace over 6f on their respective debuts and this shorter trip should suit.
