It took CALEDONIA LADY seven attempts to get off the mark but, after placed efforts in smart company, she finally came good in smooth fashion in a Listed race at Ayr last month, beating Hexagonal by almost two lengths with Ponty Acclaim and Signifer further behind. That win will have boosted her confidence and it would be no surprise were she to follow up here as she finished ahead of My Propeller when third in the Flying Childers at Doncaster, though Peter Chapple-Hyam's filly stumbled on leaving the stalls that day and can get closer. Stonefield Flyer wasn't at his best in the Molecomb at Goodwood and has place claims here but this may be too tough for Irish raider Hestian and C&D nursery winner Chunky Diamond.
