Verdict

ARCTIC COSMOS is the class act here but has his first start since winning last year's St Leger. He's reportedly fit and well after being injured in the spring, however, and could easily make a winning reappearance as he doesn't have a penalty for his Group 1 success. Progressive three-year-old Quest For Peace may be the one to profit on his first start for Luca Cumani should the selection come up short as he did well to win a Listed race over this trip on fast ground at Roscommon in July. Yaseer is inconsistent but has ability and can't be ignored, but City Leader disappointed in this grade at Deauville in August and the others look up against it in this company.
