In depth

Verdict

The Cashel Man won easily at Newmarket in August but has an 11lb rise to contend with. Burmese landed a lower grade contest at Kempton last month and Daghash is also upped in class after going close at Bath. Alcaeus is having only his second start of the year but jockey bookings point to stablemate Deauville Dancer returning to form while the likes of Igider and Cape Castle have scope attempting this longer trip for the first time. But BUCKLAND makes most appeal as he has gone close over track and trip on a couple of occasions this year including a length defeat by Royal Signaller last time and Charlie Fellowes' charge gets the nod to come out best.
