French import OCEANE has had three runs on the Flat this year for Alan King, being placed over 1m4f at Salisbury and Newbury. But he should really come into his own over hurdles and this looks a straightforward opportunity. Consortium struggled to win on the level but might do better at the winter game, though probably has less scope than the lightly-raced Darebin who was only beaten a nose over 1m2f on Polytrack in June. Jersey Bull wasn't beaten far by Mountainside over track and trip on his hurdling debut and looks the best of those with experience with the filly Auld Fyffee having already had five runs.
