Verdict

Charlie Longsdon has his string in cracking form and SHEAR ROCK can complete his hat-trick on his return from a break. The five-year-old made giant strides in the spring and it's unlikely that the handicapper has a hold of him yet. Disputed won for Gordon Elliott at Tipperary in April but is having his first start for new connections today. Royal Battalion got off the mark over course and distance last month and may not have enjoyed softer going when beaten over further here next time. He's a danger if back to his best but Lyssio appears to be going backwards and Superciliary has a bit to prove on his reappearance.
