In depth

Verdict

First Fandango and The Starboard Bow were of similar ability on the Flat and both scored on their hurdling debuts. The former produced a promising effort to win nicely at Ffos Las and the latter made all at Musselburgh. However, they both have to concede weight to BARALAKA here. Twice a winner on the level for Sir Mark Prescott last year, he was acquired by current connections for 36,000gns at the recent sales and looks a potentially useful recruit to hurdling. French import Vosges shaped well on his hurdling bow and makes most appeal of the remainder.
