Verdict

Kylebeg Krystle was in cracking form at this time last year winning handicaps at Thurles and Punchestown. She has been chasing this season and reverts to timber on a fair mark. Mountain Heather is another who has been racing over the bigger obstacles though she bounced back from a couple of poor efforts with a very easy success over timber here last month when she took advantage of the fall of today's rival Newcastle Blaze, who was still in the lead when crashing out at the fourth last. A 9lb rise won't help but she should give a good account though MISS MARY MAC is the one to beat. The winner of a Wexford handicap in August, her subsequent defeat behind Slieveardagh at Killarney was in a much better class race than this and she is still open to improvement after just a dozen career starts that include two between the flags. Most Chaste has shown some ability but Dizzy Rascal is still a maiden after 23 starts.
