In depth

Verdict

A winner over hurdles at Fontwell in March, the lightly-raced FLEUR DE VASSY is gradually getting the hang of jumping fences judged on her recent third at Plumpton and can open her account over the larger obstacles today. Pete The Feat is on a hat-trick after wins at Fontwell and Folkestone but this drop in distance isn't necessarily in his favour and he's been raised 6lb since his last win. Quilver Tatou finished second on his only start over fences but may just need his first run since last April.
