Verdict

Any rain would make Cara's Request a leading player from this mark with arguably his optimum trip a positive but we will take him on with DARING DREAM. Trying to decipher the Jim Goldie code is difficult at Ayr and he has another trio entered here, but Gary Bartley's useful 3lb claim makes him more attractive than most in the race with good form at the track, over the trip and on any ground. Conversely, Lord Aeryn appears to need fast ground to show his best and, while he should strip fitter for his Catterick spin, he will have it to prove if the forecast rains arrive. Rising Kheleyf is respected and could be a major player if returning to the form of his Newcastle run but Daring Dream is selected.
