In depth

Verdict

Frontline Girl ran very well when winning a handicap here last time and has every chance whilst San Silvestro was just half a length behind the victor last time at Catterick but we side with GLENLUJI who has beaten San Silvestro as recently as last month. The pick ran very well at Musselburgh to see off a couple of the other runners who contest this race. Although up in the weights since then he can confirm those placings here after also having won over course and distance last month. He never looked like winning last time out against Carlitos Spirit but the Jim Goldie-trained option in this race can score again today. San Silvestro has finished runner-up twice in a row and was only just held on both occasions. Although Barry McHugh claims three to assist with the weights, he may again find one too good. Frontline Girl won with plenty in hand here last time and she was running off top weight earlier this month. She has a penalty to carry for that success and although expected to challenge we prefer the attentions of Glenluji today.
