Verdict

My Painter ran much better than expected behind the long odds-on Bamako Moriviere in a four-runner race at Cork though she was flattered by her proximity to the winner. Little Haarth won over 2m5f here in July and this looks too short but Bishopslough returns after a break on a 19lb lower mark than over fences so has to be considered. RUNYON RATTLER followed a convincing maiden victory at Wexford with a very good second in a better handicap than this at Killarney where he would have finished closer with a clear run. He looks on the upgrade and gets the nod. Paris Snow has his first start for new connections after scoring five times on the Flat and over hurdles at Fontwell in the UK, though he may just need this. The Black Russian ran his best race for a long time when chasing home L'Attesa at Kilbeggan while Jack Kennedy gave Black Label a superb ride to catch the consistent Konig Hall at Bellewstown and the latter could give the form a boost in the previous race.
