Top Achiever was good value for his win at Hereford last month and the seven-year-old is taken to follow up that success off his 8lb higher mark, getting the verdict ahead of Creinch and Temple Place. The last mentioned disappointed on his return on the level at Doncaster recently but could be of interest back over hurdles for the first time in a year. Carrietau handled the testing conditions really well when successful at Newbury last week but this looks tougher off his penalty, while Irish raider Goldstar Dancer has given little cause for optimism in recent starts on the flat. Speed Venture is hard to recommend on recent form and of more interest may be recent course winner Creinch, who should not be inconvenienced by the drop in distance. Top Achiever has solid claims though and he is preferred.
