With a good record at this track MAGROOM gets the call in a tight looking handicap in preference to Capeability and Fault. A twice winner last term the pick continued in good form to run some decent efforts in defeat. His run behind Alqaahir last time now looks strong and proves he should be winning off this sort of rating. Capeability was a little disappointing on his return to turf on his last run but conditions may have been against him that day. He's gone close a few times and with no race sharpness to prove he has every chance of getting involved. Fault has done some winning over sprint trips but seemed to stay this far when placed at Kempton on his last run. He's just as good on turf and he looks a live danger. Spinning Ridge hasn't had a great deal of experience on grass but is weighted to go well, however his habit of finding just the one or two too good is getting irritating. A tight contest this but Magroom should be a leading light if fit and ready.
