Verdict

It could pay to side with Alan King's AYPEEYES in this weak seller and he is nominated over Magnitude and Gasat. The selection returns to the level after a spell over hurdles, but his race fitness is assured here and he did win a handicap on the turf at Newbury last summer. This will not take much winning and he has an obvious chance. Magnitude was denied a clear run last time and he should benefit from this longer trip here. He remains unexposed so it would be no surprise to see him fare better this afternoon. Gasat has been in goo form on the all-weather and he was only only narrowly touched off last time out. It is interesting that he has been dropped into this grade and he is entitled to be thereabouts at the finish. Mystic Art has been running well of late and is another with place claims, but we will stick with Aypeeyes as the one to beat.
