JUST FIVE is taken to land this claimer, while Love In The West appears to be next best in a contest thin on quality. With a rating far superior to the rest here, Michael Dods-trained Just Five has a clear advantage at the weights, and unlike many of his opponents he is used to winning, having done so three times over similar trips since the turn of the year. He also gets a plumb draw here on the inside rail, so can hopefully dictate proceedings and he can score. Love In The West looks capable of improvement after she won a Ripon seller quite convincingly last week. She has had only three runs so far, acts on a sound surface and she should give the selection most to do if handling the drop back in trip. Jenny's Pride has been supported at each-way prices on both starts so far, and has run with credit before tiring. She should have the hang of things now, and she may emerge as the third runner to pick up some prize money. Little else any makes appeal on what we have seen and Just Five is the one for us.
