Mr Freddy and SAN SILVESTRO will fight this finale out with the last named getting our vote. Anne Duffield s four year old gelding has continued to improve with age. He has won twice this season already at Mussleburgh and is now five pounds higher since the latest of those wins. He still looks like a horse on the up grade and if reproducing his recent form he is sure to go close. Mr Freddy will pose as his biggest danger having won over course and distance on his penultimate before finishing a creditable third to Royal Executioner at Haydock last time out. He looks more than capable of winning off his current mark and is worthy of respect. Of the others Island Music looks the most interesting on paper. His win rate is note great having only won once in eighteen attempts but he has fallen down the ratings in recent months and could now be potentially well treated so any moves in the market should be noted. San Silvestro is on the up grade and takes preference in the finale.
