In depth

Verdict

Kings College Boy, Mystery Pips and Tagula Bay are the three against the field with the nod going the way of Kings College Boy. The selection ran well to finish second of thirteen at Hamilton last time out and was only beaten half a length that day and looked as though he was coming back to form. The trainer is doing well at present and if back to somewhere near his best he can go close. Mystery Pips has won three times this season and the handicapper has taken note as a consequence. He was beaten at Wolverhampton on his latest start and this looks tougher. Tagula Bay has been running well this season without troubling the judge. His effort at Redcar last time out was a fair one as it was a competitive field and he was only narrowly beaten. A reproduction of that form will see him run well again. But for the winner we return to King College Boy.
