    Verdict

An interesting maiden where it may be worth taking a chance with Hendersyde to get the better of the form horse Gingham. The selection has shaped well on both starts to date, latterly when finishing in front of Dixie Dean in a maiden won by a stablemate of Gingham. He also has a verdict over Zuwaar to his name having finished ahead of that one at Lingfield on debut where he ran green and he did look a shade temperamental that day which has to be a cause for concern. He fared better in that department last time though and may be able to take this if he continues to progress. Gingham has the highest official rating and ran well enough in a Nottingham handicap to suggest that a maiden win should be a formality. The form of the Salisbury maiden that she ran in prior to that is working out fairly well and she rates the one to beat. Dark Prospect may improve for this longer trip but needs to if he's to get the better of the Cumani runner whilst Day Trip, Zuwaar and Dixie Dean all have something to find and will all be qualified for handicaps after this run. An interesting little heat where we'll take a chance with Hendersyde.
