      Verdict

      Peter Hiatt's Mandhooma won well here over six furlongs last month when out of the handicap proper and she has every chance of following up under a penalty over the minimum trip but faces no easy task against COMMANDINGPRESENCE, who gets the verdict ahead of Maryolini. The last mentioned comes into this having run well when a close up fourth behind Forest Dane here last month and she has every chance on that evidence but is probably better over six furlongs than the minimum trip so looks best watched. Caribbean Coral is more than capable of taking a hand in the finish but the 11-year-old has not won a handicap since May 2007, while Louie's Lad is hard to recommend on recent form and remains a maiden after 26 starts. John O'Shea's The Jailer is strictly held by Mandhooma on running here last time but is likely to be better suited by the drop to the minimum so has to be considered but preference is for Commandingpresence. John Bridger's gelding is still a maiden after 31 starts but ran his best race so far when a close fifth behind You'relikemefrank at Newbury recently when only beaten one-and-a-half lengths and he has solid claims racing off a 3lb lower mark today.
