Verdict

CHEAM FOREVER can go in again now that he has found the winning thread; the shortlist consists of Hypnotist and Good For Her. Although the race that the selection won last time at Pontefract was no Derby, the feeling is that it was still a fair enough race for the grade. That was his first win and he seemed to appreciate the mile trip so with stamina more than guaranteed he looks sure to run well off this 5lb higher mark. Good For Her is nicely-bred and unexposed; this Rock Of Gibraltar filly is yet to excel in four maiden starts but she has a fair mark to start handicaps on and her trainer excels with slow maturing types. Daryll Holland has a good record at the track and he is also 3 from 5 rides for Peter Hiatt in recent years so Waahej needs another look, as does Athania who drops in class today and is a player on her Chester win in July. The drop in trip should suit both Hypnotist and Lennie Briscoe, whilst Shared Moment is holding her form well but may find this tougher than Thirsk last time. At a price Jewelled Reef may run well as she holds some course form, however it is Cheam Forever who is taken to win again.
