Verdict

Disco Dan is the only course and distance winner in the field and he can land this prize over Dualagi and Buckie Massa. The selection has not been at his best of late but he hinted at a return to form at Yarmouth last time when a close third behind Kind Of Fizzy and he may now be ready to regain the winning thread. Dualagi was a close second behind Tipsy Prince at Newbury last time but she is proving difficult to win with and she may find one too good again today. Buckie Massa was well beaten last time at Goodwood but that was in a more competitive race than this and he may be capable of getting a little closer today from the plum draw. Bateleur will need to bounce back from a poor run last time to trouble the judge, and we prefer the claims of Disco Dan who can recapture his best form and score.
