In depth

Verdict

Dick Darsie was among the market leaders at Carlisle last month but weakened up the home straight and is proving hard to place. Ryalex is more interesting as he should improve on his debut third over the larger obstacles, also at Carlisle, but Nick Alexander’s stable is flying at present and MASSINI’S LADY is one of only two runners for the Kinneston handler today. She didn’t manage a win over timber but was placed a couple of times and starts her career over fences at a realistic level and a pound lower than her current hurdles rating. La Dama De Hierro will need to brush up her jumping if she’s to play a part.
