Verdict

MITCHELL'S WAY has been in excellent form since the turn of the year and though penalised it will be a surprise if he can't see off chasing newcomer Clondaw Hero. The latter easily landed a maiden hurdle at Musselburgh in November before finding a class 2 race at Market Rasen beyond him but still looks better than stablemate Ziggie and Picks Milan, who has won over the hurdles course here but has run poorly since.
