In depth

Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for this handicap hurdle and the main protagonists look to be Tomenoso, Valeureux and Chem's Truce and we will take a chance on Tomenoso. The gelding from the Sue Smith yard was a good second on his debut this season when second behind Court Champagne. He is sure to have come on for the run and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Valeureux rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Rival Bidder and that form has since been franked. Chem's Truce was a fair third behind Torrid Kentavar last time and this looks easier so he has definite place claims. Of the remainder Wuxi Venture and My Line are from yards in form and are worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Tomenoso.
