Silver Rime has suddenly found a rich seam of form and must be shortlisted in this current mood. Not harshly treated for recent victories, he remains on a workable mark and should contend again. In contrast, Jebel Tara does look a tad too high in the weights after a splendid season whereas a 6lb rise for Ferdy's latest Chester success seems reasonable. The latter is a dual winner around that track but has also performed with credit on more than one occasion here. He's respected along with the consistent Circuitous but the choice falls upon TED'S BROTHER. He'll be well suited by trip and ground and was far from disgraced behind Sennockian Star last time over 1m. Five of six career success have come over 7f so the drop back in trip here looks ideal.
